What is the meaning of “similar recreation rooms”? Does it mean recreation rooms for passengers and those for shipboard personnel (such as crew dayroom, crew messroom, ...)?
Answer:
The alarm system is for alerting the vessel’s command by passengers, crew and shipboard personnel, no distinction is required, for example, between communal living quarters for passengers on the one hand and shipboard personnel on the other.
