Article 3.02(3) - Stability assessment in relation to spud poles
Often, spud poles are used in relation to cargo and working vessels. These set-ups and their operation are sometimes considerable, heavy-duty and complex but have not yet been included in the calculation of stability.
Question: How do other member states assess stability in relation to spud poles?
Spud poles affect the stability of the vessels; they must be taken into consideration when inspecting vessels and when confirming the stability of vessels.
